In the evening, used Keenscups to find out the waterholding capacity/porosity. 18th November: Sir arrived this morning. Read some books in the library for sometime. During my fortnight stay at the Institute I learnt a lot about earthworm environments, including determination of porosity of soil, moisture content and texture. I also observed the other organisms present in the soil and took photos of microarthropods with the help of a compound microscope.
