The Slovak leaders, however, refused to become the dupes of the Magyar Government. There is not a single inscription in any language save Magyar in any post office or railway station throughout Hungary. Slovak medals and stamps, produced in America and bearing such treasonable inscriptions as "For our Slovak language" and "I am proud to be a Slovak," have been confiscated in Hungary. Only Magyar inscriptions are tolerated on the tombstones of the Budapest cemeteries.

I must say they were not cheering to me, for amongst them were "Ordog" Satan, "Pokol" hell, "stregoica" witch, "vrolok" and "vlkoslak" both mean the same thing, one being Slovak and the other Servian for something that is either werewolf or vampire.
