The generosity of Abderahman was again exhibited toward this unfortunate son of Yusuf. He spared his life, and sent him to be confined in a tower at Toledo. The veteran Samael had taken no part in these insurrections, but had attended faithfully to the affairs intrusted to him by Abderahman.
