If a bitter woe is pronounced on him 'that buildeth his house by unrighteousness and his chambers by wrong, Jer. xxii. 13, to him 'that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity, Hab. ii. 12, to 'the bloody city, Ezek. xxiv. 6, what a heavy, dreadful woe hangs over the heads of all those whose hands are defiled by the blood of the Africans, especially the inhabitants of this State and this town, who have had a distinguished share in this unrighteous and bloody commerce!"

The plague is encreased this week from seventy to eighty- nine. We have also great fear of our Hambrough fleet, of their meeting with the Dutch; as also have certain news, that by storms Sir Jer. Smith's fleet is scattered, and three of them come without masts back to Plymouth. 13th. Home with his Lordship to Mrs. 16th.
'The sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people have not hearkened unto Me. JER. xxxv. 16. The Rechabites had lived a nomad life, dwelling in tents, not practising agriculture, abstaining from intoxicants. They were therein obeying the command of their ancestor, Jonadab.
