Vietnam or Thailand ? Vote for the TOP Country of the Week !

We took a boat from Seward and sailed to Seldie, then to Kenai Peninsula. Here we hunted for two solid weeks and found practically no signs of brownies. "I decided at the end of this period to waste no more time, but to pull out of the country and sail back to Seward.
It was unfathomable feathers and fluffiness. "Now, what do you want?" said the Owl. "Please," said Tommy, who felt rather re-assured, "can you tell me where to find the Brownies, and how to get one to come and live with us?" "Oohoo!" said the Owl, "that's it, is it? I know of three Brownies." "Hurrah!" said Tommy. "Where do they live?" "In your house," said the Owl. Tommy was aghast.
Good-bye. They all shake him by the hand. Then he disappears into the fire-place. They stand in front of it for a moment, and one of the brownies kneels down and looks up the chimney after him. Then sleigh bells are heard on the roof, as the sleigh starts. The brownies and fairies turn around then, and come away from the fire-place.
But, grandfather, says GERTRUDE, tell us some more things that were different when you were a boy. Well, let me see, GRANDFATHER says, and stops for a moment to think. Then he goes on. There were the brownies. I haven't said anything about them, have I? The brownies? exclaims WALTER, his eyes big with interest. What about the brownies?
Size is not everything, even in this material existence. It is wonderful what a comfort Brownies may be in the house that is fortunate enough to hold them! The Tailor's Brownies were the joy of his life; and day after day they seemed to grow more and more ingenious in finding little things to do for his good. Now-a-days Granny never picked a scrap for herself.
Besides the Lorrimers, about a hundred and forty other children were invited, and the girls expected that quite sixty or seventy of these would take the parts of fairies and brownies. "You don't know how relieved the mothers will be," exclaimed Annie.
"We shall see," said the old lady, in a withering tone. There is not much real prophetic wisdom in this truism, but it sounds very awful, and the Tailor went to bed somewhat depressed. Next morning the Brownies came down as usual. "Don't they look splendid?" said Tommy, feeling the cloth. "When we've tidied the place I shall put them on."
In Teuton lands, where their cousins are named kobolds, and in France where they are called fee, and in England brownies, they have tolling and ringing of bells, with peals, chimes and cascades of sweet sound; but the Netherlands, still, above all others on earth, is the home of the carillon.
"Huldah," she said, smiling, her pretty blue eyes full of pleasure, and gratitude, and affection, "I found on Rob's back this morning, left there by the brownies, a basket so pretty and so dainty that everyone who has seen it wants one like it. It was a brownie's basket, and as you are the only one of them that I know who can do work like it, I have come to bring you the order."
"The very very end," said the Doctor. "I suppose there might be more and more ends," speculated Deordie "about whether the Brownies had any children when they grew into farmers, and whether the children were Brownies, and whether they had other Brownies, and so on and on." And Deordie rocked himself among the geraniums, in the luxurious imagining of an endless fairy tale.
