For, in the first place, any such curse is formally abrogated in the eighth chapter and twenty-first verse of the very same document "I will not again curse the earth any more for man's sake. While the earth remaineth, seed-time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night shall not cease."
The laws of matter in motion are not abrogated, for the simple reason that in physics one makes abstraction of life, or in other words leaves its peculiar effects entirely out of account. But they are transcended. They are multiplied by x, an unknown quantity.
With these records as a basis, or starting point, we must work out the problem for ourselves: Who and what was Jesus? First, he was a Jew, born, lived and died a Jew. There is no evidence that he ever rejected, or abrogated the religion of his fathers.

Our institutions are essentially pacific. Peace and friendly intercourse with all nations are as much the desire of our Government as they are the interest of our people. But these objects are not to be permanently secured by surrendering the rights of our citizens or permitting solemn treaties for their indemnity, in cases of flagrant wrong, to be abrogated or set aside.
This change and alteration is required by the condition of the patient and is an evident proof of the skill of the physician. Consider, could the Law of the Old Testament be enforced at this epoch and time? No, in the name of God! it would be impossible and impracticable; therefore, most certainly God abrogated the laws of the Old Testament at the time of Christ.
