More frequently, also with the female sex, there may be the wish to climb into bed with the parents or their substitutes, to play the rôle of mother or father, out of love for them, and finally in general homosexuality may be a driving factor. It is the sexual coloring and motivation of the sleep walking, especially by the light of the moon, which gives throughout the strongest tone to our case.

Homosexuality, in one form or another, frank or concealed, haunts the thymo-centric and spoils his life.
Does F. B. rejoice in inferiority, in the masochistic sense spoken of before? Is his humility a sign of inversion, in the Freudian sense, a sort of homosexuality? Possibly, and there are very crude and coarse phrases of the common man indicating a sexual feeling in all victory and defeat.
Although a certain percentage of female homosexuality is congenital, it is probable that by far the largest part is due to a conditioning of the sexual impulse by the substitution of members of the same sex as the erotic stimulus in place of the normal response to the opposite sex. This substitution is facilitated by certain facts in the social life of women.
