I tore it open in some surprise and read the note as follows: WHEATHEDGE, Oct. 9th. "Dear Sir, A meeting of the male members of the congregation of the Calvary Presbyterian Church will be held on Thursday evening, at 8 P. M., at the house of Mr. Wheaton.
