A veritable Norwegian fjord transplanted to Alaska with picturesque waterfalls plunging into its waters, deep glacial valleys entering at right angles with Yosemite-like cliffs bordering them, the Scottish bluebells clinging to the dripping rocks which beetle overhead, Kalampy's Slide around which hangs a tale, the Stewart mine, etc. about ten miles to the head of the bay, where a fine waterfall plunges from the mountainside.
