One poor blind girl sat amongst them, with melancholy arms folded, and learned nothing, they told us, nothing; for the instruction of the blind is not thought of in these parts. This seemed piteous to us, and made us reflect how happy are our blinds, to say nothing of our deafs and dumbs.
