The three regiments parading were the Eighth, Ninth and Twenty-fourth. The brigade was commanded by Col. William Clingen, Major Daniel A. Moore, Asst. Adj't-Gen. "The Eighth Regiment was commanded by Col. P.S. Tinah, the Ninth by Col. J. O'Reilly, and the Twenty-fourth by Col. Michael Kirwan. The military was followed by numerous civic societies.
