He died on the 28th day of September, 1670; and lies buried by my mother in his own vault in Allhallows Church, in Hertford. My father was born at Bemond, in Lancashire; the twelfth son of his father, whose mother was the daughter of Mr. Hippom, cousin german to the old Countess of Rivers.
