Eye greyish yellow; teeth in a trenchant series on the edge of the upper and lower jaw, and also on the maxillaries. Is a gross feeder, and its flesh has a strong disagreeable smell, but is much relished by the Aborigines. Inhabits rocky shores, and is rare. Caught by hook, 3rd May, 1841. No. 33. Genus unknown.
