Cocoanut-raising is a very profitable industry all along the Pasig River in Manila you can see the native boats high-packed with the green, unhusked product, and two towns in Batanzas shipped 1500 carloads last year. It is also believed that the rubber industry would pay handsomely. The rubber-producing trees I saw about Manila were very promising.
