Its twin-towers, each crowned with a spire, recall two roses on a single stem, the one full-blown, beautiful, a floral paragon, the other withered, dwarfed, abortive. The first towers over its brother by a third, and is a lovely specimen of Gothic architecture in the period of later efflorescence.
A few buildings are of two stories, and the twin-towers of the little white cathedral stand somewhat above the general level.
