Pupil of A. Roll, Benjamin Constant, Puvis de Chavannes, and Dagnaux. Mme. Marlef is a portrait painter. Her picture, "Manette Salomon," is in the Hotel de Ville, Paris; the "Nymphe Accroupie" is in the Municipal Museum of Nantes.
