Als Species sind sie indessen vollkommen distinct; sie sind viel gröszer und nicht glänzend und glatt wie C. folliculus, welche Art im Süden von Europa und auf Madeira gefunden wird. Breite mehr als doppelt so grosz wie die Länge, die strahlenförmigen Rippen grosz, distinct und nicht zahlreich; hintere innere Fläche mit deutlicher Punktirung in beiden Schalen bedeckt.
