"All is God, and God is All," they exclaim, adding the doctrine of the Godness of all to that of the allness of God; the universe, in their view, is the one Divine and Eternal Being of which everything, including ourselves, is only a phase or partial manifestation; as it is the Divine life which pulses through us, so it is the Divine consciousness which our consciousness expresses, the Divine nature which acts through ours.

Even if we knew it was a shape of God call it even God himself our eyes rested upon; if we had been told the fact and believed the report; yet, if we did not see the Godness, were not capable of recognizing him, so as without the report to know the vision him, we should not be seeing God, we should only be seeing the tabernacle in which for the moment he dwelt.

Freedom over slavery; the natural over the artificial; beauty over ugliness; the spiritual over the material; the goodness of man; the Godness of man; have been greater if he hadn't written plays. Thoreau's mysticism at times throws him into elusive moods but an elusiveness held by a thread to something concrete and specific, for he had too much integrity of mind for any other kind.

In this new spiritual perception we rely more and more on our intuitions, illumination and revelation, for it is human Godness, backed by the strength of unnumbered hosts of higher consciousness.
