After August 3, two sessions were held daily, from 8 o'clock in the morning to 1 o'clock in the afternoon, and from 7 to 10 o'clock in the evening; at 10 o'clock, the Executive Council met with the Committee of Public Safety, and papers were signed about 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning.

October 8, it places two sans-culottes as guards in the houses of all those named below, in the quarter, even those who could not be arrested on account of absence. All holders of public funds are forbidden to sell them under a year and one day after the date of their purchase.

It contains the official announcement of the minister of religion and the archbishop, and is especially given to news of an ecclesiastical character. Its most prominent writer is Dr. C.D. af Wirsén, one of "the immortal eighteen" of the Swedish Academy and a lyric poet of reputation.

The admission af a double defeat makes it evident that the tale is not the invention of Greek national vanity. Abydenus and Polyhistor probably derive it from Berosus, who must also have made the statement that Tarsus was now founded by Sennacherib, and constructed, after the pattern of Babylon.

The first law is that Natives belonging to class A may only intermarry with class B, and natives belonging to C may only intermarry with class D. The progeny of a man and woman of intermarrying classes is of a different class from either father or mother. Let Am represent a male of class A. Let Af represent a female of class A, and similarly Bm, Bf, &c.
