Some of us may need the subtle analysis of our lives to make clear the points where we went astray in our thoughts and ideas, but many of us, fortunately, are able to take ourselves for better or for worse, sins and all. Most of us ought to do that, for the most part, if we are to progress and live.

Thou gayest, He that convinces of sins against the law, leads up to the fulfilling of the law.. They say: 'On this day our sins are pardoned, and are added to the sum of the sins committed by our enemies. They go to their synagogues, read from their books, translate from the writings of their Prophets, curse our king, and execrate our government, saying: 'May this empire be wiped off from the face of the earth like unto our sins. They supplicate and pray that the king may die, and his rule be made to cease.

"To do this well, you must mind the following "Resist every temptation to cheat. "Never impose bad goods on false pretenses. "Never put off bad money for good. "Never use profane or uncivil language. "Never swear your goods cost so much, when you know it is false. By so doing you are guilty of two sins in one breath, a lie and an oath. "To break these rules will be your chief temptation.
