Father Dulaurens recommended, that for some time, at least, the Bible, even in the Calvinist version, of Olivétan, should be the only book appealed to, on either side, as authority: but the Cardinal insisted, on a resort to tradition. The Cardinal's project, was suspended, by his decease; and resumed, under Lewis the Fourteenth.
